July Project - Part 1

I've stopped reading for the time being to work on this ...

This is quite an intricate (but not difficult) piece, which means I have to pay full attention, which means I can't crochet and watch the telly at the same time. :D Each row is different, and after 4 rows, the design repeats itself. I think I can finish it in about a week ... hopefully. As always, I'll show you the finished product. ;)

Ooh, from what you're showing it's a very pretty and feminine design.

Christine: This is such a sweet, soft shade of pink - I think the lacy design goes well with it. :)

Zarina: Yes, this is a shell pattern. :)

Brandy: The colour and lacy effect do give this piece a very feminine look. :) Wait till you see the whole piece. ;)

Lovely shade of pink. I'm looking forward to finding out what this turns out to be. You always come up with something cool and interesting and great looking. :)

Jace, this looks beautiful, well worth sacrificing tv for! Says I who knits through the only tv shows I 'watch'.
I'm just ravenous for books at the moment, and about to go on a Jane Austen bender (AGAIN).

Happy creating xxx Starry

Grace: You're very kind with your support and lovely comments. :) Thank you!

Taja: I hope this piece will live up to your expectation. :D

Starry: I'm kind of missing the TV! :D That's great you're reading so much right now. :) I'm hankering for a quick read myself - I'll see if I have anything light to read in between crocheting. :)
