Current project - Part 2

Here it is - 80% done. I think you can have a pretty good guess what it is now? :) I've got to figure out how to proceed with the 20%, which will be by trial and error. Yikes!

That's so pretty! All of your stitches are so even!

Ummm... what is it? ;o)

It looks like a draw string purse, what is it? It looks very pretty though.

Grace: The golden clip is actually an old leverback earring (I love those!). :D Its stone fell off and I never found a suitable replacement. I've been using it as a stitch marker for my crochet projects; it also stops my stitches from unravelling. :)

Christine: Thank you! I do try to get the stitches as even as possible. :) I'm trying to make a tote bag. :D The key word here is "try". :D I think the 80% turned out well - it's the 20% I'm worried about (how to put in the flap and the handles so they don't block each other).

Violet: Thanks - it's nice that you think it's pretty. :) It's a rather large tote bag. :) Right now, it measures 38 cm/15 inches across at the widest part.

See, told you my guess would be wrong! *g* It's going to be an absolutely gorgeous tote bag!. After all, you made it. I think the use of an old lever-back earring for a stitch holder is a brilliant idea. Can't wait to see the finished project!

Hey B, thanks! :) I think it'll take me some time to finalize this project since it's going to be by trial and error from this point on. I hope it'll turn out as I envision it.

Hope you've had lovely weekend Jace! I don't know if y'all have Mother's Day where you live, but if not, or if so..... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Thank you, B, for thinking of me. :) Yes, we do celebrate Mother's Day here in quite a big way. I've had a busy day - lunch at my MIL's house, then a sumptuous seafood dinner with my family. It was a very nice celebration. :)
