A little gift

I made these "hookmarks" (short for hook bookmarks) as gifts for friends near and far. I hope they will like them.

The blue ones are my latest designs. I'm pleased with how they turned out. Quite tedious to make but well worth the effort.

I've become very fond of these hookmarks - I'm barely making book thongs now! Book thongs are so much harder and time consuming to make, and I think they're quite fiddly to use? I reckon I'll still make them, though, since they were my very first creations, but I will definitely make more hookmarks.

Your hookmarks are lovely! The I like the beads between the metal piece and the flower on the end, very pretty! You're still making your origami book marks, too? Right? I am quite in awe of your talent to make beautiful things!

Yes, I'm still making origami bookmarks but not often - only when someone asks for it. :) Thanks ... I'm glad you like these hookmarks. :)

They are gorgeous, but I'm personally fond of the thongs.

Glad you like the book thongs so, Azteclady. :) BTW I browsed your Etsy shop - great merchandise! I wish you lots of sales this holiday season.

Hi Jace,
Your hookmarks are gorgeous. Wow. So much detail and wonderful color combinations as well. :)

I had such grand plans of crafting some homemade gifts this year, but I'm quickly running out of time. :(

Christine: Thanks! :) Yes, Christmas is fast approaching but you still have a little time to hand make goodies as gifts. :) If you do, please post the pics, will you? Happy crafting.

Grace: Thank you! :) Your Christmas items are lovely too. :)

Brandy: The pic was taken by my good friend, K, last year. That's her "backyard" in the mountains of Austria. :)

Paulina: Welcome to my blog! Do come back often. :)
